Trick or Treat 2009

Getting ready for trick or treating!
Adam before putting on his costume.
Chris did Allie's makeup for me. Good job, hon! :-p Pretty kitty!
Allie posed like this all on her own! :) Silly kid!
This is my favorite one of the kids!
Chris even joined in the fun! My cute little family!

I thought both the kids looked super cute, but Adam was the one that got all the attention. All the neighbors loved our little chicken!

Adam was ready to head home by this point. Allie and I did one more street and then joined the boys back at home.

The loot!

After eating too much candy the kids ran around the house like crazy people.

Adam didn't like wearing the wig!
Finally, a smile! :)
The wig was my Grandmom's - she wore it every Halloween on her school bus. She as a bus driver and loved dressing up for all the holidays! I know she would have loved seeing my kids in her wig! :)

Last Soccer Game of the Season!

Allie's last soccer game was Saturday. It rained all that morning so the field was super muddy. There was lots of slippin' and slidin' going on. And very muddy kids by the end of the game! "Get that ball, Allie!"
Half time!
VERY MUDDY cleats.

"Go Allie!"
Game over, high fives for everyone!
Allie's first trophy!

A visit from Gail and Joey!

Last Monday Gail and Joey came up from VA for a four day visit. We met the Roberts when we lived in NC - Earl and Chris worked in the same battalion. We have really missed our North Carolina friends... we've missed all the fun play dates, all our trips to the beach and pool, going to the mall, eating out together, and the list goes on and on! Wish we were all still living in the same town! :[
Joey laughing at Allie - she was being really silly!
Best buddies!
Bath time for the boys!
Allie and Joey's hide out.
"Aw, Joey, why are you sad?"

I guess Adam was getting sleepy!

Cute kids!
Using the brooms for horses!

Joey and Adam being "boys!"

Guys, thanks for coming all that way just to visit us. It was so great seeing you two - Hope that we can do it again sometime soon!
